Shipping/Operations Manager


Description:

The Shipping/Operations Manager handles the core operations work of our business including shipping and receiving, performing quality control checks on equipment, following up on late returns, ordering supplies, providing periodic technical support, and running our front office.


Responsibilities:

  • Shipping products to our customers (creating FedEx labels, performing quality control testing on products, tracking progress, shipping, receiving)
  • Managing inventory (ensuring all equipment is properly accounted for in our inventory tracking system)
  • Following up on late returns and billing clients for late fees and replacement fees
  • Maintaining general office supplies and coordinating with our vendors
  • Providing telephone technical support to clients as needed

Requirements:

Patient, self-starter, fast learner, extremely detail oriented and results oriented, with strong verbal/email communication skills, highly ethical, and reliable. Familiarity with technology and an inquisitive nature are a plus. You'll need to be comfortable speaking with clients on the phone, using the web, Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Salesforce, and FedEx online. Experience in a warehouse or shipping environment working under tight deadlines is a plus.




Systems Administrator


Description & Responsibilities:

  • Responsibilities consist of managing networking appliances, hardware, and software throughout the company.
  • Complete a variety of tasks in the Network Operations group, but primary tasks center around networking protocols.
  • Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrades and support of all client networks including primary support to LANs, WANs, including switches, routers, firewalls, and other appliances.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot problem areas as needed.
  • Administer and maintain internal domain resources, including but not limited to, Active Directory, DNS and DHCP.
  • Serve as a contact with maintenance vendors in order to resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Provide a level of knowledge and understanding of the various layers in the OSI model.
  • Assist with helpdesk and end user specific PC issues. Contribute as the primary technical resource for various windows servers,
  • VMWare 4.1 virtual infrastructure, and EMC SAN NS technologies.
  • Assist with development of business continuity and disaster recovery plans; provide as the primary contact for system issues and outages. Fill-in for other positions in the engineering department when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related Business field is preferred, but not required.
  • A minimum of one to three years similar experience in network operations is required. Minimum of 1 year experience with VMWare 3.5 administration or higher, Domain Controller Roles, SAN technologies are preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to present a professional and personable image that communicates to the values of the company to our clients in a professional manner.



Wireless Network Engineer


Description & Responsibilities:

  • Designing, implementing and supporting RF (radio frequency) networks.
  • Supported wireless technologies include: point-to-point and point-to-multipoint microwave technologies, VSAT, and land mobile radio systems.
  • This position will also have responsibility for leading projects to implement wireless technologies and will contribute to setting global standards for wireless hardware, security, maintenance and support.

Requirements:


Basic/Required:

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Extensive experience with Ethernet switching and routing
  • Experience with DNS, DHCP, packet captures software, IP address/Subneting, and QOS
  • Experience microwave link design, planning and troubleshooting
  • Project management experience
  • Able to travel internationally for the company

Preferred:

  • Cisco IOS CLI
  • Motorola PTP, CPS, Mototrbo
  • Link-profiling and RF propagation software experience

Senior Wireless Networking Engineer


Description & Responsibilities:

Lead efforts to provide cost effective/scalable network designs, solution deployment and technical standard documentation for our clients' WAN and LAN environments. Responsible for the architecture standards of network designs, QoS policies, IPv4 and IPv6 addressing, MPLS L2 & L3 VPNs, wireless services network integration, NOC switching and routing environments, managed services architectures, BGP routing architecture standards, service offerings, and Internet connectivity architectures. Lead forums and projects on the above and work with client teams to discuss and solicit feedback on network design requirements.


Evaluate the impact of new technologies on the transport network, drive vendor direction and service offerings, and remain abreast of developing data infrastructure standards. Identify network optimization opportunities and guide team members in how to recognize opportunities to drive efficiencies and take corrective action. Assist in the creation of the budget process based on architecture plans and capacity impacts on those plans.


Manage, maintain, and configure network hardware (ex. LAN switches, load balancers, and routers) when necessary. Provide highest tier technical escalation support to the Network Operations team on all networking related issues as a subject matter expert.


Requirements:

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent data networking and telecommunications service experience. Must possess the experience and ability to lead and participate in technical sessions, to lead projects, drive vendor roadmaps and feature delivery, as well as coordinate technical and integration discussions.


Minimum 7-10 years experience in data networking and telecommunications is required including expert knowledge of TCP/IP and a working knowledge of both ATM & MPLS.Minimum 7 years experience configuring routers, LAN switches, load balancers, and content switches (Cisco routers & switches, Juniper routers & switches, Cisco content services switches, F5 content switches, and Xirrus arrays).


Candidate must have expert level experience in switching and routing design, managed services network connectivity design and FES connectivity architecture. Candidate must possess expert level IP address allocation fundamentals, solid awareness of security impacts based on IP design, and the ability to work with project teams/vendors to learn new platforms, develop scalable IP designs, drive feature roadmaps and integration. Candidate should have experience with data network design of wireless gateways, and other voice and wireless data system network integrations.


Candidate must possess expert level experience in service provider level complex BGP routing implementations, complex Internet POP connectivity architectures, and integration into data networks of wireless service offerings including prepay architectures. Candidate must possess expert level knowledge and experience working with QoS and DMZ architectures, as well as VoIP, SIP, and IPv6 experience. Candidate must have the ability to work with and lead project teams and vendors to learn new platforms, develop scalable designs, and drive feature roadmaps.


Candidate should have knowledge and experience with content switching principles including global server load balancing techniques, advanced server health monitoring techniques, knowledge of DNS functionality within content switching, and the ability to conceptualize application data flows.


Minimum 7 years experience in IP addressing / subnetting, BGP, OSPF, BFD, STP, VLANs, PPP, Frame Relay, ATM, PNNI, MPOA, Ethernet, T1, T3, OC-3/12/48/192, CSU/DSU, CAT6 cabling, Fiber (SMF & MMF) connectivity, ATM products (MGX8850, MGX8950, Passport), Sniffer / Packet Capture products, QoS, creation of managed services architectures and MPLS (LDP, RSVP-TE, MPBGP, etc.).


Candidate should possess knowledge of general telephony architecture and principles, networking security (i.e. firewalls, SecureID, security protocols, Radius), SNMP, network management (FCAPS), HP Openview, Concord eHealth, Cisco ANA/ISC, and Cisco/Juniper/F5 network equipment MIBs.


Candidate must have experience in being able to lead and participate in technical sessions, lead projects, coordinate technical resources, and implementation discussions in unstructured environments.


A strong understanding of structured network design and the OSI Interconnect model, especially how it relates to the requirements gathering, design development and deployment / integrations of structured networks, is required as well as strong project management skills, strong interpersonal and communications skills (written and oral), and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.




Wi-Fi Applications Engineer


Description:

The Wi-Fi Technician is responsible for performing wireless site surveys and installation at customer sites. This role includes traveling to customer sites (including international) and performing site surveys, installations, system upgrades, generating post activity reports and additional activities as required - all while ensuring complete customer satisfaction in the ongoing customer relationship.


Responsibilities:

  • Use standard Wi-Fi survey tools to provide coverage analysis
  • Generation of site survey reports
  • Physical install and configuration of Xirrus Wi-Fi Arrays
  • Generation of 'As Built' installation reports
  • 50-75% travel required, some with short notice
  • Ability to pass basic background check
  • Other duties as assigned by Application Engineering Manager

Requirements:

  • BSEE, BSCS or similar preferred
  • Requires CWNA certification within 6 months of starting position
  • IP networking background
  • Working knowledge Wi-Fi

Wi-Fi Technician — Customer Support


Description:

The Wi-Fi Technician is responsible for providing pre- and post-sales technical support to prospects and customers. This role includes the resolving of technical issues and the delivery of technical services to customers – all while ensuring complete customer satisfaction in the ongoing customer relationship.


Responsibilities:

  • Level 1 customer support via phone, email, and online contact
  • Technical issue tracking via CRM software
  • Processing of returned/repaired equipment
  • Knowledge Base development
  • Delivery of technical services at customer sites
  • Some travel required

Description:

Responsible for providing post-sales technical support to customers. This role is focused on the expedient resolution of technical issues to ensure complete customer satisfaction in the ongoing customer relationship.
