Congratulations to Sidney Ha of Elk Grove, CA, who became the first-ever Papaya World Solitaire Champion!
After players around the world competed from their phones to qualify, the top 400 players earned invitations to Miami, FL for the inaugural championship event. Competitors battled it out for a share of $300,000 in total prize money, with Sidney taking home the $150,000 grand prize and the championship title.
Behind the scenes, TSI delivered a custom high-density network with two local ISPs for full redundancy, providing the mission-critical internet connectivity needed to support contestants, attendees, event staff, and event operations throughout the championship.
